- "We stayed in the Queen Anne House, which was one of several buildings in the hotel. It was a beautiful old house of about 7-9 rooms and was wonderful.. The room and bathroom were very large and clean. It was quiet and beautifully decorated with a 4-poster bed, couch, desk and a small balcony.(not sure if all rooms have balconies). The breakfast was adequate and served in a building across the street. It was nice to eat outside in the courtyard when the weather was nice. We didn't have a car so it was very convenient to have the St. Charles Street Car Line one block away for access to the Garden District and French Quarter. There were also restaurants within walking distance and Magazine Street, with wonderful shopping was four blocks away. It was nice to stay in something different than a chain hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much."
