- "This was our first time in Whitby and the Florence Guest House certainly
lived up to all expectations. We were greated by Linda who told us about
the closest free parking, just around the corner and then helped us with
our bags up to our room. We stayed in room 3 which was very well
appointed and at the back of the house. It had everything we needed in
it including a hairdryer and very fluffy towels. Linda had even got some
soya milk for me as I am lactose intolerant. Linda also told us about
the best pubs in the local vicinity to get some real ales, which we very
much like and her advice was definitely spot on. We both slept very well
and breakfast lived up to all of the other previous reviews. There is a
cereal, fruit etc to choose from and the cooked breakfast is great."

- "The Florence guest house is located close to the centre of Whitby. It is a very short walk to the harbour and town (about 5 mins). Although there is no parking on-site there is ample free street parking close by. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the hosts are delightful. This accomodation is great value."

- "Our room overlooked the park it was very well thought out and in keeping with the age of the property. The furnishings were lovely, the room was spotlessly clean, Breakfast was very good, Owners very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would reccommend ."
