- "It is located right next to one of the loveliest beaches on the island -
praia Juliao - and a couple other lovely beaches. The breakfast was
varied and plentiful and the shared kitchen is fabulous. The rooms are
suites, with sitting room, bedroom and bath room so they are large. Far
from the shopping areas so it is quiet and uncrowded." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The rooms are dark - there is one lightbulb in each room and a low wattage at that! The island is notorious for its biting insects so I would expect the hotel to take extra care to protect its guests but all of the screens had large tears in them and let in all manner of biting and crawling things! If you want to be in the shopping area you have to drive there as it is too far to reasonably walk it unless you are just out for a hike."
