This former post-house is situated in the centre of Beaugency, just 20 kilometres from Chambord and 90 minutes by car from Paris using the A10 motorway.

Lécu de Bretagne rests in a quiet mediaeval village on the route to the extraordinary castels of the Loire Valley. It is at the crossroad to the regions of Sologne and Beauce.

Guestrooms are distributed among 3 buildings. There are 16 2-star rooms that open out onto Place du Martroi, 2 rooms that have been completely renovated and 18 3-star, air-conditioned rooms.

They are stylish and contemporary and equipped with modern en suite facilities and offer TV with 9 channels and free Wi-Fi internet access.

Savour regional cuisine in the hotel restaurant. The menu changes often in response to the seasons and features a fine selection of regional wines.

What did you like the most?: "Quiet night, inner city medieval impression, Loire river nearby"
Is there anything you didn't like?: "Too uch urgency mealtime service - they were a bit too eager so I didn't relax"

Is there anything you didn't like?: "The outside of de Hotel was not nice a little bit poor!! But inside was good."

What did you like the most?: "The staff was very friendly and helpful, good food and a nice small town we started to appreciate more after a few days.
We booked for a week, but left after 4 days.
The reasons were the parking and construction work that had started. In the hotel information it is stated parking on private property, but when the hotel is full this is not possible. Parking was for us a reason to choose this hotel.
Another issue was the construction work which resulted in small trucks driving all day on and off the parking, after 2 days my car was white of dust. Next they started early so sleeping a bit longer was not possible.
If this all is finished and the parking is arranged better it is a hotel we probably will come back one day."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "The parking was small and can not handle all cars. The hotel is mainly used by visitors for one day, so the atmosphere is a bit different due to this. Every day people come and go."

What did you like the most?: "Location was very good - Beaugency is a lively, typically French town on a river and the hotel is very central. the room was spacious and tidy, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom clean and nice toiletries. Nice restaurant and also a Brasserie. The restaurant evening meal was very good with a good range of set menus (from 24 Euros upward).
We would stay here again."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "The bathroom shower had nowhere to put the soap - simple to do and irritating to leave undone. Staff geberally were quite friendly but service was somewhat chaotic, with spells of not being attended to which seems at odds with the high quality profile the hotel is seeking to promote."
