La Tonnellerie is a former wine-merchant"s house located in a picturesque village near Beaugency, only an hour and a half from Paris. Dating back to the 19th century, the original furnishings lend the hotel its unique manor house charm and character.

The Sologne region offers numerous opportunities for pleasant country walks, cycling and hot-air balloon rides.

The restaurant, opened on the terrace and the garden, offers classic and traditional dishes in a warm atmosphere.

What did you like the most?: "Hotel was very comfortable. The outside was misleading as the inside
(restaurant, lounge) was beautifully decorated with homely touches.
Dinner was excellent and with a reasonable choice. Location not the most
attractive but convenient for exploring the Loire region in the area."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "Bedroom would be improved by installing quieter doors and with the addition of tea/ coffee making facilities."

What did you like the most?: "A excellent hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, dinner was excellent with local produce on offer and a very personable host which made the experience even more special, my partner and I will definitely be returing to La Tonnellerie in the near future."
