- "We found the B&B fantastic the hosts are a lovely couple from New Zealand. Our room was spotless and very nice. They have a lovely garden and two super cute mini dachshunds that welcomed us at the door. The B&B is situated a little bit out of the city center (15min). But the neighbourhood is very nice and quiet and you can park in the street for free. Breakfast was delicious and they had Marmite! Highly recommended it was a lovely stay."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Although comfortable the bed was a little bit short for a guy like me (1.90m) so check before booking. The 15min walk to the city center might be a problem for some less mobile folks as the B&B is situated up in a hill (taxi between the B&B and Bath rail station costs only about £5 though)"

- "The staff were very welcoming and the little extras made you feel at home. Choices for breakfast was first rate and perfectly cooked.......much better than the standard buffet at a hotel. Whilst a 20 min walk out of the city it is a beautiful walk and the house is in a quiet street overlooking a very pretty garden. The bus stop is very convenient if you don't want to walk up the hills on the way back."

- "Nothing.....met our expectations and would definitely recommend to others and that's not something I would readily do."

- "We felt welcomed from moment the door was opened. Billie was very friendly and gave us good advice on places to visit and eat. As this was our forst trip, this was very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. My husband Tim and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying in the other rooms."

- "Stayed at Lavender House for a two day break on our way from Scotland to Cornwall. Fantastic place to stay and we got a warm and friendly reception from the hosts Billie and Kevin. The house is beautiful and our room, The Gold Room was wonderfully comfortable, spotlessly clean and peaceful with views over Bath. The huge bed was wonderful, and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious in the delightful dining room over looking the very pretty garden. Great attention to detail, fluffy bathrobes, chocolates and lots of wooden coat hangers, and the little treats just outside our bedroom door. Loved our short stay and we will be back again one day. Highly recommended."
