- "This is a charming old mansion in the middle of town, with an extremely helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed the free light breakfast and coffee each morning in the beautiful drawing room."

- "Very little to complain about, but we were disappointed when we learned that many of the tv channels, especially basic movie channels like AMC, were off limits. We called the desk to ask, and were told that was that, and additionally that they don't subscribe to On Demand. The hotel restaurant was also curiously empty every night, which wasn't encouraging."

- "Fantastic location in the middle of town and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and very bright, ours had 3 full size windows in it, and everything you would expect from a luxury hotel was included."

- "Breakfast was a little limited in its choice and as it was served in the lounge area the seating was not ideal."

- "My husband and I planned to stay three days, however hurricane Isaac interrupted our return home to Mississippi. The staff, Paula and Rachel, made arrangements for our continued stay and did everything possible to make us feel at home and secure under very anxious circumstances.
The lovely breakfast is more than coffee! Breakfast is served in the lovely parlors with nice music and exquisite, comfortable surroundings.
The entire staff is pleasant and friendly, each one. We were so comfortable on our extended vacation!"
