- "The owner of the business just care about your money and propose a lot of services, but they never say how much is it ! There is not heat in the bed rooms ! it's really cold !"

- "The owners: Unkind and unhelpful owners totally unwilling to cooperate! I travel around the world visited 127 different country's and always was staying at the hostels..this is the worst place I stayed at. The owners of the hostels are very rude, disorganized with everything and extremely unprofessional. I made a booking thru the HostelBookers.com which is normally what I always do...10% of the total amount was paid w/my credit card to the HostelBookers and charge on the day of booking, the other 90% is always paid directly to the property on arrival. Everyone knows that but the owners(husband and his wife)of this hostel they don't know this!!!They argued w/me for an hour about this (10%) that I paid already with my cc online,but I didn't wanna give up.Then she told her husband how cheap I am arguing for10% of downpayment!!! Unbelivable!!! They wanted me to pay not 90% they insisted on paying 100% in cash. For me that will be 110% since downpayment was made already online....One thing for a sure that 10% can NOT have any impact on my life...I will not get more rich or become poor person.. That amount of money is just a joke...but I do work for the money and I don't pull $$ or Euros from my ass!!The other thing on the HostelBookers web site I was reading that credit cards are accepted at this hostel - NOT TRUE!!! ONLY CASH and I am wondering why,,,hmmm!!! On my last day when I was leaving this hostel the owner was sitting at the front desk and when I passed by on my way out he didn't even look at me...no thank you,no bye,NOTHING!! That's one of the reasons why I decide to leave and take my business some place else. Just few blocks away closer to everything on better street it is brand new Eco Hostel.http://www.portoalegreecohostel.com."

- "This hostel has an excellent cost-effective, and in Porto Alegre is better than some that cost even more expensive. Clean, well maintained, and with a friendly service.
At least in times when the demand for rooms is not so high, even some rules are not really required, such as access to kitchen to get something from the fridge, and the dorms tend to have few people, just like you and someone else." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "As the sport offers hostel-type, this means that rooms can have more people than just you and whoever is with you. When cooking for yourself, since the kitchen to the hotel can be used by you, or have breakfast, you will have to wash the cups and dishes that use. I personally did not think this kind of bad thing, especially as the cleanliness of the rooms, and common sites is the responsibility of own hostel"
