What did you like the most?: "Quaint hotel 1960's style right on ocean's edge. Staff especially in restaurant helpful and friendly. First room best described as bijou was changed quickly to more suitable size on 2nd floor.
Breakfast adequate not a wide range. Some evening meals were good and well presented but this varied.
Manager visible and often on reception.
No car park but advice where to park given. Bus for St Helier leaves just outside hotel.If you want a balcony room book early and check the room it is."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "One or two attention to details would make this a jewel of a hotel. Impression given that lack of maintenence was being use to save money. Proper mixer showers could also save energy; present shower in room well below modern standards. Likewise with room TV which was high on the wall and an antique model.A change to LCDs would save enrgy and be more comfortable to watch."

Is there anything you didn't like?: "Tried out one evening meal despite having heard poor comments by other guests and had to agree the meals need to be worked on. Breakfasts were excellent."

Is there anything you didn't like?: "This was the 4th time I had stayed at this hotel over the last 10 years, It is very dated now , I felt we were in a care home this time, Ivor barman was great but as for the restaurant staff - you always felt that it was a rushed meal the food was mostly cold - it was get you in and then quick get you out -cold fast food. not what we wanted from a hotel we used to like."
