- "I loved the location -the Metro was 2 min. From the hotel. You can walk
to Royal Palace. If you like flamenco, Corral de la Moreria is a 15 min
walk. Mariano was very helpful and funny guy. The view from room 801
overlooking the park was beautiful. I liked the room a lot. It was very
big with a sitting area and a small kitchen. It was also very clean. The
picture of the room on the web site did not do it any justice because I
think that it is much nicer. Also, I have to add that one can hardly
hear any street noise -which is very important. I would definitely
return to this hotel." - Is there anything you didn't like?

- "Very nice staff members who helped us when they could. Several English speakers helped with that. Good location for walking to sites nearby, plus shopping and restaurants"

- "Rooms are really run down and one of the two smelled strongly of smoke. Carpets are worn and the equipment in the bathroom didn't all work. Bedding was fine but it couldn't make up for the rest of it. We just spent 2 weeks in Spain and this was by far the worst hotel we stayed in."

- "Staff was nice. Location was convenient to sites and to the tour company we were using."

- "Rooms were very dingy and hadn't been updated in years. Though the lobby was nice, the rooms clearly haven't been good quality in a long time. The hair dryers looked like canister vacuums and we had to hold the parts together to use them. Very loud street noise. Room smelled strongly of smoke."
