What did you like the most?: "What I liked the most is that I managed to sleep some hours which is an
achievement given the scent and the room state."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "We were charged $15 extra for the pet, although this was not advertised in the web site (not on booking.com, neither on daysinn website). Besides, upon arrival the front desk person didn't know that pets were allowed. The "manager" came in after a while and said: "Where does it say pets are allowed? Booking.com?" (With evident disappointment). And then: "Did you put them on the 3rd building? No, no, no, pets go at the 4th building, move them". Needless to say that the building we ended up in was terrible. Our room smelled really bad, the entry door had signs of an assault and the cleaningness of the carpet was poor. We thought the carpet was black when we entered, but after a while we realized the color was dirty blue. When I say dirty I mean that it was full of dark spots, as if some other dog had been pissing (or/and pooping) multiple times. Unfortunately it was too late to find a spot in another motel. We have been travelling a lot through the US, from motel to motel and we never have any serious problems. Bad neighbours/neighbourhood, bad locations and modest stuff are a norm and we have no problem because we don't expect the Ritz. But this time it was too much: 100$ for this? Unadvertised? With this scent and this carpet? With this manager? No way, not anymore."

Is there anything you didn't like?: "The tub and sink where very slow to drain and the water was not hot. On our second day stay they did not pick up our dirty towels however they did leave fresh."
