- "There was a heater in the room which when it got going was good but it took a while. The window was a bit drafty for my liking."

- "The room was large, and the chair/ottoman, vanity, microwave oven, and
refrigerator were nice. The color scheme was pleasant. There were plenty
of electric outlets. The air-conditioner worked beautifully. The
location was good, next door to the library and the McHenry Mansion." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Upon our arrival, there was a dying cockroach in the bathroom. The plastic toilet seat was thin, and the shower was small and dark, with little patches of mold in the grout. Our room faced the rear alley, and the homeless people were noisy all night. When we checked out, the clerk was sullen and made no effort to ask how our stay was or to thank us for patronizing the motel."
