- "The poor command of the English language by staff. Excessive prices charged for your drinks which was reflected in many members of our club not purchasing, or resenting the purchase after placing the order."

- "We paid half board package for one night ...on the understanding that we would be entitled to a selection from the daily menu for dinner. However when we were ordering , it was explained that we were allowed a £30 allowance from the menu, which only just about covered two courses if you were careful what you chose ...some main courses were nearly the allowance alone!. For that price we expected the food to be something special but it was very disappointing ;most courses were lacking in flavour and cold on arrival at the table (This may have been because there were two large parties staying that night ) The maitre d' Hotel who served us(presumably because the waiters were all busy) was enough to give you indigestion....far too intrusive and hovering over us all the time. Shame really , because it could have been lovely. Breakfast offered a good selection of food but again the hot food was only lukewarm ."

- "Normally rather expensive, but have stayed a couple of times at much reduced price with a late booking."
