- "Lack of a restaurant is a minus because Chateau is in the countryside and the Medoc is quite rural with the restaurants in the larger towns. One has to drive about 15 minutes to a restaurant - nothing within walking distance. Staff assisted wwith restaurants because different ones are closed for one day out of Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Had two great dining experiences out of three choices. Our third choice just OK."
