- "The hotel, using a "special rate" reason, charged my room to the credit card three weeks before I actually arrived, which I found annoying and unnecessary. There were several emails asking for my credit card details to complete the booking, never mentioning the room rate would be charged immediately. This change in policy is really quite unsatisfactory to me and I can see no reason for it."
