It is the biggest aquarium of Europe where the major marine ecosystems of planet are represented. Each building identifies with the following aquatic environments: Mediterranean, wetlands, Temperate sea and Tropical, Oceans, Antarctic, Arctic, Islands and Red sea, apart from dolphinarium, with 24 liters of water and a depth of 10.5 meters. The Submarine restaurant and Access building which welcomes the visitor, are highlighted by the spectacular roofs designed by Felix Candela. More than 45,000 samples of 500 different species: dolphins, whales, vises, marine lions, seals, penguins, turtles, sharks, apart from typical birds of humid areas, such as those which live in albufera in Valencia and in the tropical mangroves.
