- "When we arrived(after 3pm) the apartment hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants, and smelt of smoke, so we had to wait a couple of hours for the cleaners to be located and the job to be done There was no fridge or freezer so we had to make do with a very small wine cooler, and trips to the bar for ice. We were told it did say on the web site there was only a small fridge but I couldn't find this information and a wine cooler is not a fridge! The crockery was very sparse. Only one set of batteries for the remote controls for the tv and video. The so called terrace/balcony was on the roof together with the air con units etc it felt as if we were in a nuclear power station. No fire risk information insde the apartment. Sorry not a good experience."

- "The entrance to the apartments was undergoing some work, it seemed as though it needed painting and had hand written notices everywhere. The actual main building was also quite difficult to get in and out of due to a security door which was very stiff to open. Luckily my partner was strong enough to open this as I was unable to."

- "Nice smart modern place, very quiet the time I was there, the food in
the Winelodge bar itself was very good." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "On arrival the staff didn't seem dead enthusiastic, took a while to process my booking and then proceeded to leave my booking form on the bar where anyone could have got hold of my card details. I got the impression that the room hadn't been cleaned as there was toilet paper and old used towels on the floor though thankfully I think the bed had been changed! It was great having a nice big flat screen tv, pity then that I could only get bbc1, 2 and 4, nothing else... Brilliant! Overall a smart place let down by a lack of attention to detail, shame!"
