- "Do not reserve a room at western inn gonzales. This hotel did not honor
our reservation made through booking.com. When we arrived at the hotel
after a 15 hour drive, the hotel did not have our reservation and was
full. They found the reservation that we made through booking.com but
their employee did not enter it in their system. Rooms in the area were
full due to the ncaa championships in New Orleans. The employees would
not find us a room in another hotel--they said is was a busy weekend.
After dealing with them for over an hour, we found a higher priced room.
Western Inn Gonzales, refused to pay the difference in price. We asked
to speak to the manager/owner and the employees refused to let us speak
to her, nor would they give us her name. I have dealt with booking.com
for many hotels and have never had anything like this happen. My husband
spoke with booking.com on the phone and they are dealing with this
issue. Please stay far away from this hotel." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "There is nothing to like about this hotel. Hotels that are run as this one, that refuses to honor reservations simply should not be in business."
