- "Lovely small hotel; splendid location in quiet road near to centre of leafy spa town with loads of cafes and restaurants; owners charming and friendly; hotel filled with fascinating personal treasures; room beautiful with lovely leafy view of fountains; car park convenient and free; variety of walks in nearby wooded hillsides; stream ran by side of hotel. Breakfast superb; although advertised as starting at 8, we always found it ready earlier. "Honesty bar" operated in hotel dining room. Definitely will go back."
