Villa Alicia is located in the city of Málaga. It is a beautiful house dating from the early 20th century. This boarding house features high ceilings, wide windows and mosaics typical of the era.
Among the services offered, we emphasise our bar-cafe for breakfasts, an outdoor café, patio, free computer room, private and personal key, central heating, admission of pets for a small fee of 5 euros, reception open until midnight, lounge with DVD, etc.
There is a common kitchen equipped with kitchen ware which is ideal for long stays. Lodging for more than one week gets a 10% discount.
Wi-fi connection and separate area for dvds. Relax while enjoying a glass of wine on our lovely terrace. The hotel is well lit, spacious, clean and offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a restful stay in the capital of Costa del Sol. The rooms are pretty, modern and decorated in cheerful colors.
Situated next to the historic centre of Málaga, it´s the perfect place to start exploring the points of interest in the city, such as the famous cathedral.
It´s also only few steps away from the major tourist attractions of the Andalusian city, such as the Cathedral, Picasso Museum, The Castle and the port (500 m).
The main point is that it offers a quiet and pleasant place to stay for enjoying your trip to Málaga.

Surrounding areas:The guesthouse is situated in the neighbourhood of Victoria, in the city of Málaga. It is only a 5 minute walk from the historical heart of the city. Malagueta beach is also only a 10 minutes stroll from the hotel. Málaga is an excellent location from which to explore the stunning Costa del Sol beaches.

What did you like the most?: The hotel is located in a quite part of the city but still not far away from the centre and one can even reach the beach easily by foot. The owner is very nice and knowlegable and gave us some good advice where to go and what to do. You can have breakfast on the little terrace which is nice and shady.

What did you like the most?: Nice and cosy and very colourfull guesthouse. Nice rooms, good cleaning, average bed, quiet location, situated close to the historic centre (5 to 10 minutes from Plaza di Mercedi), close to the beach (Malagueta) 25 minutes walk. You can hire bicycles nearby. Please ask the hospederia if you can put your bikes inside at night, because ours were stolen....

What did you like the most?: Fantastic apartment. Great location. Clean & tidy.
Whilst self-catering you can opt for breakfast in reception (sadly we had not spotted this until we checked out).

What did you like the most?: Very friendly and helpful staff. Although we didn't use it, there was a kitchen available for us to use which would have been very useful if we had been staying longer.

What did you like the most?: Nice atmosphere guest house. Has some nice common areas - seats and tables outside in the sun, or a comfy sofa in an upstairs sun room. Also offers full use of the kitchen. Friendly staff.

What did you like the most?: Chilled out, friendly staff. Lovely building in a slightly bohemian style. Close enough to centre to walk but not much going on locally. Peaceful, no loud coming and going from guests (tho that is entirely subjective. Loved it and would recommend without hesitation. Not a top end hotel but definitely comfortable and pleasant.

What did you like the most?: Nice and friendly guesthouse in a quiet neighbourhood. It was a bit chilly when we visited, but the terrasse out front would be perfect to eat breakfast or read a book on in a month or two.

What did you like the most?: I really enjoyed my stay because the hotel staff and owner was very helpful in giving advice on how to make the most of the city. The reason I chose the guest house was the location as it was in walking distance to the main attractions but quiet enough to get good sleep for very reasonable price. However, it exceeded my expectations because of the personal attention we received.

What did you like the most?: The very personal, warm and friendly welcome by the owner of the hostel, the homely atmosphere and the artistic decor of the whole house. The location is peaceful and yet is still within walking distance of the old town.

What did you like the most?: I chose Villa Alicia because of its moorish decor and bohemian look and wasnt disappointed in that respect. It also had an outside terrace and kitchen facilities. Since this part of my trip was planned as complete rest and chill out time after sightseeing and travelling during the rest of my holiday it was perfect.
The staff were really friendly and relaxed and breakfast (an optional add on) was delicious with help yourself coffee (an added bonus for a coffee addict!). The whole ambience of this place is lovely:) with little seating areas around the place which werent shown on pics on web
