What did you like the most?: "A positive of the hotel was that it was central to Old Town Salinas, just off Main St."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "When we arrived at the hotel there were no staff there to check us in as they had gone to TacoBell so we were asked to go find something to do for 10mins until they came back. They were refurbishing another room and had placed furniture from that room in front of our door which they didn't move, we had to get around it. This was however moved by the following morning. The bathroom window was open to the carpark where people could have seen in. The room was near the street and we could hear a lot of noise of the street, which may not be preventable but the rooms were not that modern and therefore possibly lacking double glazing etc. The hotel should really be advertised as a hostel not hotel, have stayed in much nicer hostels in the past compared to this one. The staff did give us a lot of advice about travelling around the area but after speaking to local people, they had failed to tell us how dangerous it could have been for us to walk around."

What did you like the most?: "The only positive thing I can say about the experience is that the
manager was helpful in suggesting a local shuttle service as
transportation (to Laguna Seca race track) as an alternative to
driving our car.
At least the room was clean."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "I booked a room for 2 adults. The hotel in the picture on Booking.com looks nothing like the Travelers Hotel actually looks. The Travelers hotel has no air conditioning, no cable, and the beds are very uncomfortable. The beds for two adults turned out to be one full size bed and one "twin" that was more like a roll away cot. This hotel is grossly overpriced. I will not stay here again."
