- "The staff were very good and friendly. I arrived late on monday and the staff made me something to eat. I appreciated that very much.The breakfasts were excellent. The hotel in my opinion was A Plus. Thanks for a lovely two days."

- "The hotel has a very special atmosphere. It's situated in a somewhat
remote village "in the wild", with sheep, cows and beautiful views
around it. The location is both plus and minus for some (who is
travelling by public transport), because the buses to the village are
not very frequent, especially on Sundays. And the village itself is
tiny. But if you want to escape from it all - it's a p?????? place. And
everything adds up to the atmosphere - the quietness, the interior, the
smell of an old house, birdwatchers staying at the hotel, a fireplace
that they lit when the weather is bad, poetic views from the windows.
And the staff - they are the most helpful, friendly and welcoming I've
ever seen. They give advice and surround you with care. The rooms are
quite big, cozy and very sweet. If you have a bathroom that is not in
your room - it's rewarded by it's size and presence of a bath. It's
clean and private. The breakfast is very tasty. The locals are so nice.
The surrounding area is very beautiful. It's convenient to explore the
Northern part of the Cairngorms from the nearby town Aviemore. Car
travelers won't have any problems at all, I guess. A very pleasant and
interesting stay overall."
