- "Situation and outside appearance. Pub atmosphere."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "We were sold what was essentially a single room as a double. Room was in a back alley by the noisy kitchen extractor fan and woke up in the morning to see through the only window a couple in bed. Meals were pricey for what turned to be nouveau cuisine. Breakfast not entirely as stated on the menu."

- "The room was very spacious, especially for the price and a walk-in shower was a bonus."

- "The inn generally was subject to almost constant low-level noise, eg. pipes, creaky floorboards, ventilation. The staff also seemed a little disinterested."

- "Room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was interesting and varied and very well cooked and presented."

- "The food portions were a little on the small side for my husband and son and we did feel that it was unfair to have to pay extra for vegetables with our main course."
