- "Bedding was clean. Toilet was clean. Plenty of hot water in the shower."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Room was very shabby, dark, pokey and not very clean. Smelled very strongly of smoke. Kettle was just left on the floor. Only one cup. Bathroom was shabby and there was a huge puddle of water behind the toilet."

- "The young lady on reception was pleasant."

- "The hotel was, the be honest, quite horrible. It stank of smoke (I thought smoking in public buildings was now illegal!). The room was basic to say the least, the carpet was so filthy that I dare not walk on it without shoes on. The kettle was on the floor and whilst the sheets were clean, the duvet cover was not. The bathroom was just about acceptable although the floor was, again, filthy. From between 2.30am and 4am there was constant banging of doors from other occupants I assume. Quite frankly it was probably the worst hotel (if you can call it that) that I've ever stayed in, so much so that sleeping on the sofa at my children's house was preferable the second night so that I didn't have to stay there."

- "The staff were friendly and the location is near the train station."

- "The room was so dirty, nothing like the pictures. There was stains on the bedsheets. The cups had tea stains which did wash off, the window lock was broken. The skirting boards were going mouldy, the walls had parts that needed plastering. The plumbing in the bathroom was mouldy and the sink leaked. I opened the shower to put my shampoo and conditioner on the shower floor and it stunk of urine. There was a slug on the bathroom floor which I have picture proof of...the list goes on!!"
