What did you like the most?: "The bed was awesome! Loved having the fireplace in our room. Quiet.

Is there anything you didn't like?: "The sink area was way too small as there was no place to put brushes, combs, makeup except in the sink. The advertisement was there were kitchenettes in the rooms. My perception of a kitchenette would be to include not just a coffee maker but plates, knives, forks. If food was brought back to the room that needed to be reheated, you had to place it on the microwave plate as there was nothing else to use."

What did you like the most?: "Friendly, close to beach. Room was cozy. Nice fireplace. We will stay there again. Great location, walking distance to everything."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "Room called a "cottage" is actually in an old 1940s motor court (that's what they were called long ago). It has been nicely revamped but units are attached to each other. The room was very stuffy and smelled stale (not smoky) but we opened the windows and the cross ventilation aired the room out quickly. No AC unit - okay because near the beach with cool breezes. We slept with windows open and used gas fireplace to take the chill off in the morning. The stale smell did not return. Because of this I'd say the room was $30.00 too high for off season (and that was with an accommodation) but it is Cannon Beach, after all. WARNING TO ALL - When you book on-line at booking.com, don't expect your reservation will get instantly transferred to the hotel/motel. Bookings FAXes the reservation - YES, they FAX it! and if the desk is closed for the night, as ours was after 10 PM, you may not get the room you were confirmed to get. CALL the hotel directly to confirm! At the last minute we were switched to a smaller accommodation - too late to find another. This is a failing of the bookings.com system, not, in this case The Courtyard which scrambled to find us a room. >>> To bookings.com - I'm going to look on your site for this report and if you don't post it, I will YELP it. <<<"
