- "The rooms were beautifully decorated and restored, and the space was
really magical, a true hideaway." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The customer service was really bad -- we were greeted brusquely, no-one explained anything about the rooms except about the parking (which was kinda small), there was nothing in the kitchen, not even salt and pepper, there was no housekeeping the second day we were there. Also, the gardens were in horrible shape, lots of dead vegetation everywhere, and a view out of the back of the Marilyn onto a wilderness of weeds and cobwebs. I spend 3k on 3 nights for my brother and his family and me, and I think it should have been more gracious."

- "Beds need upgrading, not overly comfortable. It would have been nice to at least have coffee in the room vs. Just a pot."

- "We liked every single moment we spent at the Charlie. It felt really like home and the responsiveness of the management were remarkable. The place is really unique in L.A. as it was quiet and cozy in the middle of the most busy areas in LA. We loved how the place doesn't have a lobby and you use the flower paths to go to your cottage with individual entrance to each unit . It felt like you are in a beautiful secret garden. We thank Mike and Masha for making our stay a pleasant and unforgetable stay."
