- "Bit of a musty smell all round, and it really does need to be refurbished in terms of decor and carpeting and fixtures & fittings."

- "A warm welcome from Staff and the Owner. A relaxed atmosphere despite ongoing renovation work in progress. The breakfast was reasonable and enough to eat although coffee pot was a bit small for two persons. However, good value for a short stay."

- "As mentioned revamping work in progress but found the bedroom rather shabby despite a new bed. Lock on the bedroom door was in need of fixing, shower drain was clogged with hairs and mentioned this to the owner during a conversation. I realize things are being improved and this is a fairly new venture for the team involved. Feedback is a positive tool in order to get things right."

- "The breakfast was excellent, all items being purchased from local suppliers and freshly cooked for us."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The hotel has recently changed hands, and needs a lot of "smartening up". There was scaffolding around the outside which I should have been informed about as it spoilt the sea view from our bedroom. However the new owner is most anxious to improve the hotel.I would like to see it in a year's time to see what has been achieved."
