- "It was convenient for our Rugby game against Llandovery,the staff were all friendly and helpfull."

- "The room was ok,but somebody had put up a picture on the wall and the plaster was still on the radiator."

- "WiFi was not working on the first night, so unable to send business e- mails. Plastic cup in room not changed during entire four day stay, had to use dirty one. Biscuits not replaced in room. On last day only the litter bin in the room was emptied, the bed was not made, the dirty cups were left and the coffee and tea was not renewed. Stood at the bar on the final evening to place an order for food and drink and was ignored by bar staff, who served three other people who arrived after me. Not really good enough for in excess of £100 per night."

- "Ideally situated, the Castle is friendly, clean with excellent cuisine. It has an old world charm you won't find in many hotels. I understand the chef has achieved awards for his (or her) cooking and it's easy to see why....as the food was superb. Friendly staff and a clean large room add to the value for money. We'll definately stay again...Llandovery is perfectly positioned as a base to explore this stunning region....the Castle just adds to the overall experience of old world charm."

- "Late night crowds in the street were a bit noisy, which was to be expected"
