- "They are over priced the rooms do not meat the standard of a £150 a night hotel .
Please do not pay that to stay there although the restaurant was ok and food was good x"

- "The docor of the hotel is 5 star throughout. The back garden also is
wonderful to sit in .Very private quiet and lovely landscaped lawns. The
food in the restaurant is also a1 the best food I have eaten anywhere in
Scotland and actually better than some mitchelin restaurants I have
eaten in. This hotel is the best in Ayr by a very long way . You get
what you pay for and I am glad I paid the little extra and stayed here"

- "The staff were very welcoming and friendly without being "in your face". The menu was excellent and vg service in bar and dining room. Good location on edge of town and near beach."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Could hear upstairs neighbours walking around maybe a bit of soudproofing would help. This did not upset our stay."
