- "Annex rooms approached through a very bare and cold corridor. Rooms fine so it was a shame the approach was off-putting."

- "The location on the shores of the Loch is lovely as are the views from the Dining Room. We had a room overlooking the Loch which was also nice. The architecture of the hotel both outside and in the main public areas is very nicely done and in keeping with the age of the Hotel."

- "The room was poorly prepared with no toiletries. There was a large - ? wine stain on the carpet. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The beds and pillows were very firm and the walls are very thin - we could hear the people in the next room talking."

- "The staff were excellent and made us welcome."

- "The breakfast was not of a good standard black pudding and sausages were inferior and the coffee was not nice! Tee and coffees took ages to be brought to the table. There was also a mix up with orders at dinner the night before causing a delay for one of our party and when all food was on the table the food delivered to those earlier had gone cold."
