- "Cooked breakfast could have been better. This is Lincolnshire, shame the sausage tasted as though it had been boiled. I'm from Grantham and proud of the local produce. Sorry."

- "The room was superb...lovely large bathroom, very spacious bedroom, comfortable bed...wonderful furniture....good television with excellent choice of channels. The housekeeping was excellent. The food was wonderful with excellent service at all times....at the front desk, in the dining room and cleaning of the rooms!"

- "I wish that it had a lift, but being a 12th century inn, this has its limitations!!!"

- "The staff were friendly and that was made evident from the minute we arrived. Our 6 year old grand-daughter chatted to everyone and the responses were first class. The room was perfect even down to the fold-down bed for Tessa; it was clean and comfortable."
