- "After reading a number of other reviews of the Surfrider Resort I was
hesitant to book there for a much-needed getaway for my fiance and I.
But she implored me that we should try it out because it looked like a
pretty good value. Wow! I'm glad she has exercises so much influence
over me! Because while this place isn't by any stretch of the
imagination opulent, it's perhaps the very best value I've ever
come across in the way of hotels/motels! Now I could go on at length
to this end, but I'm just going to leave it at urging anyone
considering the Surfrider Resort to keep in mind that the world is full
of people who just like to complain." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "I'm sure it was actually more of an issue for our neighbors, as the Surfrider Resort isn't exactly built like a bunker. In other words, my fiance and I weren't there to sleep so much as engage in other activities -- and I'm not talking about watching movies on the big flatscreen tv or sitting and sipping tea on the balcony -- and I think we probably kept up our typically much older neighbors."

- "Food was very good. Group that performed on New Years Eve were very pleasant, however the audience were "grey hairs" and music should be selected that is familar in order for crowd to stay."

- "The staff at this facility was PATHETIC. The waitstaff in restaurant excellent The bartender a joke: I showed up at 8:30pm Friday night and asked if they were still serving food since I'd driven a long way on Friday to get there. He responded very unprofessionally. I asked him for his BEST Margarita. The concoction was made with well tequila when I expressly asked for his best. It was terrible. When I checked out I paid CASH and they ALSO charged my card causing multiple overdraft charges. Their explanation was bla bla bla. I PAID CASH. They should NEVER have charged my card."
