- "From the minute we stepped hrough the front door, the service was excellent.
The food for both the celebratory lunch and following breakfast was superb with attentive, friendly and helpful staff.
The tea and coffee in the room was a good selection.
The siting of the hotel is excellent being right on the main road - this said we did not hear any excess noise from the road" - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Having paid £120 for the night, we would have expected a larger ensuite room. The shower was small and there was barely enough room to sit on the loo. The decor and lighting in the room was dark Ialthough pleasant) and the bedside lights were neither bright enough nor low enough to allow us to read in bed. The room was very warm even with the window open"

- "Excellent service and in a good position for exploring the Suffolk coast
and countryside." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Your website showed that was one last room available for the dates of our required stay which was classed as a Superior Room. It was not obvious at the time that this would only contain a bath, not a shower and also that the same room was not available for the complete number of nights. The Hotel Manager phoned to explain that we would have to move rooms for the last night, which in the circumstances we accepted, but we feel that this lack of information is a flaw in your system."

- "Warm welcome from a very friendly and efficient team who all worked well together. They really looked after us well, and both the food and the service were excellent. Lovely comfy bed. Beautifully decorated rooms. A small country house hotel, nicely situated (close proximity to the A12 gave some traffic noise, but it was not any particular problem). Not a hotel for children I would say, catering more for those seeking a relaxing evening in pleasant surroundings after a day's exertions."
