- "A unique experience away from the crowds. Staff were extremely helpful
and made sure our stay was memorable. Breakfast on the deck with
classical music watching the boats and cruise liners come and go was
great. Being able to interact with other guests was a welcome change for
those used to staying in hotels. A glass of wine on the deck overlooking
Venice was most enjoyable. Pleased we had a larger bathroom with
separate shower cubicle. The island of Guibecca where the boat is moored
has some excellent restaurants and bars but not the crowds or prices of
the main part of Venice. Vaporetto stop a 2 minute walk. Nice parkland
next to boat. Breakfast was ok with coffee, juice, cereal, yoghurt,
eggs, cheese, meats, toast and croissants. Would have preferred plain
rather than chocolate croissants.
Best advice from staff was to get a 48 or 72 hr vaporetto pass. Nellie was also very helpful with restaurant advice and is a lovely host." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Not really dislikes but comments: When we arrived we were greeted with a glass of wine but told we would be on the boat next door. This concerned us however we realised this was to our advantage as the cabin was slightly larger and had a separate shower. As we had booked for 3 nights the staff wanted us to have the best experience possible. The bedroom area is small. Only about 50cm on 2 sides of the bed however there is plenty of storage space. We only travel with carry on so no problem for us but if you have large cases you may have to leave them up the top."

- "We were a target for mosquitos - if you are booking here, better have something very good to protect yourself as the windows shall be open and they are comming eagerly"

- "If you want to try something different - THIS IS IT !!! Staying on a stationary boat for 4 days in Venice with water all over was so perfect. Its very easy to locate this boat - small one and yet maintained well and Nellie and her companion are just great hosts. No frills , no additional surcharge costs etc. It was a relaxing break from the usual hotels and was fun"
