- "Friendly staff and fantastic food both in the bistro and the included breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed, recently refreshed with new tiling to bathrooms although a change of laminate would have given a higher quality finish but couldn't fault the cleanliness. A quirky layout to the hotel keeps it interesting and our room had a balcony overlooking the harbour which was beautiful. Great location for views but beware not near either of the main areas of town. Would happily stay here again."

- "A lot of stairs up to our room on the third floor so not ideal for heavy suitcases. A lift would be useful."

- "It was not there fault but the tv was not working properly and we missed programmes which we wanted to see but they were not to blame as it was an area fault on the suppliers"

- "shower was rubbish , ok if you are a midget and only wants a sprinkle of water, telly kept loosing signal. twin room was booked and confirmed two weeks in advance but was not available on arrival."
