- What did you like the most?
- "The location and the historical building appealed to me. Even on a miserable autumn morning looking out of the large windows provided the perfect view of the wind and rain rolling up the beach and lashing the Palace (Brighton) Pier with force.
The breakfast provided was varied, plentiful and filling. The resturant staff were attentive and efficient at clearing up once guests had completed there meal." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Unfortunately like any large old establishment maintenance upkeep of the building both internally and externally is important. The size and layout of the hotel makes it into a bit of a rabbit warren with lots of stair to negotiate. My bedroom and corridor areas were not as clean as they should have been and furniture and fitting repairs had been left unattended. The dining room was rather basic, the emphasis being based on a quick turn over of guests. There always seemed to be a contact present of smokers at the main entrance - yuk."

- "The hotel looks a little tired and could do with updating. Breakfast was a bit bland."

- "Location very good for beach and the town. Staff very helpful and friendly Hotel clean even if it is a bit antiquated very nice place to stay I shall be returning for another break."

- "Its cheap and the decor is kitch in a fun way, its set in time, it was probably a grand hotel back in the days, but these days are long gone. I thought it was interesting to see it, and they should push this even more with older furniture. It needs a little investment to make it cool. But overall its okay. See view is really nice."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The check in time at 3pm way too late, even if you offer to keep the luggage. Travelers need to freshen up before hitting the lanes of Brighton. 12:00 or 13:00 would be better."
