- What did you like the most?
- "it was a beautiful, old-styled hotel. the staff could not do enough for us, we especially liked the bell-man/bar waiter from the Philippines. Hotel was well-appointed, the bathroom was good-sized with great water pressure in the shower.
we loved the deck on the water to sit on with drinks and the balcony off the breakfast area. we also liked the breakfast, eggs, bacon, toast, etc." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "the stairs!"

- What did you like the most?
- "Loved the character - from the huge glass chandeliers, to the little terraces out on grand canal, to the maze of back streets which took a couple of days to get right from each direction........breakfasts are great, luggage looked after on departure day very much appreciated.....would definitely stay again."

- What did you like the most?
- "The hotel is in a good location, on the Grand Canal, and near to the
vaporetto stop "San Stae". It is central, but peaceful. My single room
was cozy, quiet and beautifully decorated. The hotel felt luxurious and
I really enjoyed my short stay here." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The only drawback was that there are a lot of stairs, and no lift. There is a porter to carry your bags to your room - but the elderly, or people with limited mobility, might still find this hotel hard to manage."
