- "We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Residencial Imperial. We had the most lovely room with a view to the river. The room was very nicely decorated and everything was in perfect condition. They had even put in some fresh flowers.
We had our own private bathroom which was seperated from our room - really nice detail. We also had a refridgerator to keep water etc. cold.
Even though we rented a double room with view to the river, they let us use the living room next door, which was a very nice detail as well. Also it was very nice of the owners to let us use it.
The breakfast was really lovely - including the fresh fruit (we had strawberries, oranges and kiwies). There was coffee, tea and even the possibilty to make a cup of hot chocolate. Different kinds of bread, hams and some cheese. Also some lovely - maybe even homemade - jam. As something really nice the orange juice was freshly squeezed. Top of breakfast though was the warm and fresly made pancakes. Everyone seemed to really enjoy them.
The owners are really lovely people. They go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.The son speaks very good English and he recommended several local and really good restaurants.
We will definately be back some time later this year."

- "A lovely old-fashioned room right in the centre of Tavira. Everything was as we needed it, with no problems. Run by a lovely old couple and their son."

- "Some people may not like having to leave the key at reception - if this doesn't bother you, I'd definitely recommend staying here."
