- "the only thing we did not like is the fact that we had to go into the bathroom to open the room door fully as the space was very small and tight and also the bath was very small also we could not turn the heating down as this was broken and parts sitting on the ledge"

- "Proximity to river and surrounding countryside, also very close to
railway station. Was able to acquire extra milk and coffee when ever
asked for in room. Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a running
weekend for lots of people, and staff were very considerate of this." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Couldn't operate shower, took ages to get the correct temperature and you were at risk of a serious scald if you got it wrong. After spending over 20 mins attempting this, decided to take a bath but we were then unable to turn tap off. Had to pull plug out to stop flooding. Post marathon, we attempted to take a bath, but, were unable to turn cold tap on. The water was incredibly hot, we contacted staff and had a member of staff attend room to sort. He was unable to turn cold tap, stating taps were too close to wall. Another staff member attended and fixed problem quite quickly, but we were reluctant to waste another hour trying to take a bath. (Sunday afternoon) This was the only problem we encountered and it was attended to, but the water temp was incredibly hot. It may need a reduction to prevent a burn."

- "Good central location. Clean and well appointed rooms"

- "I had a problem on 2 occasions trying to order a cooked breakfast from room service. They said they didn't do it for h&s reasons. I managed to get 1 cooked breakfast delivered but later on the same morning my room mate was refused and could only get a continental breakfast. Also the noise from the street at the back of the hotel at night was terrible!! It kept me awake for ages."
