It seems as if the village has grown around it, adjacent to houses in a little street.
All the staff we met were extremely helpful and friendly.
There was no restaurant operating in October, but Q do Adamastor has several it recommends.
We arrived about 9pm, too late and too cold to venture out on unfamiliar roads, and the lady in reception made up toasted sandwiches, fruit and yoghurt, and a pot of tea. It was so much appreciated.
We had a full continental buffet breakfast, and bacon and eggs if we wanted it." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "It would have suited us if there was a restaurant, but our stay was mid-October. It is a mountainous area, with very narrow winding roads that take some getting used to, and driving up to village restaurants at night was not an option. Fortunately there was one about 6klm away offering delicious regional cuisine that was easily accessable."

- "Absolutely beautiful property, in peaceful location. Great attention to detail."

- "We booked very early, and were impressed with the restaurant details 7 sample menus sent. We did NOT want to drive as we had a long drive to get there. We were very disappointed on arrival , to hear that the restaurant had closed down in November & we had not been advised. However the staff helped us book a local taxi to a recommended country restaurant, which turned about to be a very good experience."
