About Hostal Quinta De São Thiago
El Quinta de São Thiago es un establecimiento de gestión familiar situado en un entorno tranquilo, en la ladera de la colina de Sintra.
El origen de este edificio histórico se remonta al siglo XVI; antiguamente lo habitaban monjes de un monasterio de la zona. Hoy en día es una pensión, el lugar ideal para relajarse y olvidar el estrés diario.
Se invita a los huéspedes a disfrutar del lugar como si estuvieran en su casa. Cuenta con una gran piscina, para refrescarse, y zonas a la sombra de los árboles, para tomar el sol o relajarse leyendo un libro.
El Quinta Thiago no tiene restaurante pero sirve comidas junto a la piscina o cenas con velas en el comedor, bajo petición.
Presenta una bonita decoración; combina el confort moderno con el encanto y carácter auténtico.
En las inmediaciones encontrará playas, campos de golf, antiguos palacios y senderos públicos que le permitirán descubrir las verdes colinas de Sintra.

- "It was quiet and peaceful and staff were very friendly and helpful. The
grounds were beautiful with great outdoor swimming pool . nice breakfast" - Is there anything you didn't like?

- "The property is beautiful, grounds, gardens, buildings. The staff was so friendly and helpful that they felt like family before we left. Our room had a wonderful outlook over the hills in Sintra. The lush greenery just makes you smile. Breakfast in a formal dining room with a huge table set for all of the guests as if we were guests of the family. Very lovely."

- "The access road, which we were told is scheduled to be paved within the year. Driving on the roads in Sintra is not for the faint of heart. The roads are 2-way but narrow. The access to the property is not paved and is rocky and rutted."

- "Arriving at the Quinta somehow feels like being thrown in a 19th century novel, being the guests of an old English Lord or Lady. Fabulous! Very friendly and corteous staff. And definitiely not the standard hotel chain experience..."

- "You definetely need a car to reach it down some very poor roads. Not the cleanest place. Bathroom facilities could do with a little "mise à point"."
