- "The location is perfect, right in the heart of Santa Teresa, very close
to the best bars and restaurants. Very easy to get to the metro station
by taxi, only a £2 journey (the street is so steep that you would pay a
lot more) The hotel and the room were beautiful, the staff was so
welcoming and friendly, it felt like as though we were staying with
friends. The bed was super comfy!" - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "It's a bit expensive for a room that you'll be using to sleep and shower only. But then in Rio everything is very expensive in comparison to other destinations in Europe for example. The stairs are a killer! There's no wifi or phone in the room. There isn't a full-length mirror (I'm a girl!). The view from the bottom rooms are poor, overlooking what looks like a swamp, forcing you to keep the balcony doors closed at all times to prevent mosquitos entering your room."

- "Location and friendliness if staff. Room is also very nice."

- "Despite the good breakfast with scrambled eggs prepared specially for you I still miss a more special breakfast for such a nice hotel. Freshly squeezed juices and typical brazilian dishes like "queijo branco", "pao de queijo" and "tapioca" would make the hotel perfect."

- "+ (Positive) -Front desk Clarissa: very helpful with tips on what to
see, bookings, taxi bookings,etc. -Breakfast room and lounge room open
air and very cosy." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "- (Negative) -Hotel does not deserve its rating and its description of Boutique hotel. -Noise from nearby terrace of restaurant and noise from dogs barking and noise from airplanes. -No wifi signal and no phone in room -breakfast & lounge room can get busy, because guests staying longer to use their pc/ipad/smartphone because very limited Internet access in their rooms. -No chair and no desk inside room. -No lift* : had to carry luggages almost 80 very narrow stairs, over 4 floors down. Important information* should be displayed on the main part of hotel description, and not at bottom part of description page. -Front desk closes at 11pm -swimming pool is ridiculously small, like a pool for pets but not for human beings. -Area of Santa Teresa can be really dangerous, except nearby street with some cafés and restaurants."
