- "A reasonably priced and moderately comfortable hotel in a dreary part of Hamburg with friendly staff and reasonable 14 euro breakfast, five minute walk to station/ five minute wait for train/ five minute ride = 15 minutes to city, or door to door for 6 euro in a taxi."

- "The uninspiring location - no bars, restaurants or life; and a cold room (even with all heating at maximum)."

- "Helpful staff, nice restaurant, comfortable stay, and reasonable prices."

- "The reception area and bar were spacious and had a football game on which was just what the kids wanted. The hotel was clean and staff fairly friendly. The best point however was that it is only 200m from the U/S-Bahn station Berliner Tor and from there it is easy to get into the city centre. The breakfast buffet was good with a very wide selection to chose from and was good value at Euro 14 per person."

- "Our family room could have been more spacious. There was a large fold-down bed which was great and a small fold-out sofa which was pretty small and uncomfortable for two people. The breakfast room, while large, was stuffed full of tables which made it difficult to move around to the breakfast buffet when all the seats were occupied. We arrived in the evening and were told dinner was served until 10pm. At two minutes past ten when we were ready to order dessert, we were told the kitchen was closed and nothing else was available - we couldn't believe it. The waitress could have pointed this out earlier and taken our dessert orders earlier"
