- "We spent two nights at Pousada Mendenhall and were very well treated.
The staff is friendly and tries to be helpful at all times. The place
itself is located outside town, at the top of a hill, and boasts
beautiful views of the surrounding area. We booked a quadruple room,
which was large, clean, and had a comfortable bathroom. We had plenty of
hot water both in the shower and in the sink. Breakfast was quite
sufficient and varied, and we were able to order scrambled eggs and
omelets. We wish we had fresh fruit juices, which was not the case. Tea
and cake were served around 5 in the afternoon. We enjoyed a nice fire
in the evening as the weather was cold and rainy." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "This is not really a complaint but we thought that the pousada lacked a warm and cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately the common areas are paved with polished granite, the white walls lack pictures, objects that would render the place more welcoming. We suggest that large photos of the beautiful surrounding countryside be used to add color to the walls. Old photos of the city would also add a nice touch to the common areas and individual rooms."

- "Bed size.It could be bigger considering the size of the Luxury Room. A Queen size or even a King size could fit well in the room."
