- "Pousada da Praca Hotel is a small hotel like a bed and breakfast very
well situated in the center of Salvador, a ten minutes walk from the
Praca da sé, and Lacerda Elevator. The same family has run the hotel for
more than twenty years.The owners are very helpful and speak some
English. The breafast is free and copious. You can eat on a small
terrasse surrounded by tropical trees. Very relaxing."

- "The fruit that they offer on the menu as a snack in the evening was
amazing! So much delicious fruit and was really cheap. The pousada is
also right near the top of the elevator in the upper city. The staff
were very friendly." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Location, was kind of sketchy. It was really a hostel, old and empty. The beds were rather hit and miss (some super soft, others hard)."

- "- Big spacious room. Basic but comfortable.
- Clean bathrooms.
- Comfortable lounge & terrace for breakfast, wifi access and relaxing.
- Excellent English-speaking staff. Was made to feel welcome, given useful advice on transportation and city layout (plus personal security tips) and even joined me for a drink after cooking for me late at night.

- "I liked everything but warn visitors the rooms are comfortable but simple. Don't moan that this isn't a Hilton suite but it offers exceptional value and hospitality."
