What did you like the most?
"Nothing, really"
Is there anything you didn't like?
"This is one of the most neglected hotels I have stayed in, in Britain or elsewhere. Dilapidated, numerous repairs not done, more than half of lightbulbs not working but not replaced; seemingly unlikely to comply with fire and saftey regulations (e.g. in terms of in-room notices); indifferent service, half laid-out places for breakfast, etc. For one night we tolerated it and didn't complain - but never again. A pity as the basic building could be good and the cost and effort in making the place functional and OK wouldn't be so much - very complacent."

What did you like the most?
"Nothing, The paper on the corridor wallson each floor that I went on had
been ripped off, in the first room offered, in the bath room the panel
was comming off the bath and the tiles were caked with dirt and mould.
The carpets in the corridor and in the room were black with dirt. In the
second room that was offered as I refused to stay in the first one,
admittedly the bedding apppeard clean but the roomed smelled unpleasent
and I was advised by the receptionist to leave the door open to try and
get rid of the smell. The tv did not work, and when I reported it to
reception they said that there was a problem with the ariel and someone
was on the roof trying to fix it (this was at about 10pm at night) the
curtaind were dirty. In fact I would never stay at that hotel again I do
not belive there was any value for money, had it not been for the fact
that I did not arrive to the hotel until after 6pm and was due to leave
before 9am (plus they had already taken payment of over £30 ) I would
have gone to another hotel. The lift was possible the worst, it look as
though human fluids had been smeared on the doors and walls the carpet
was unrecognisable."
Is there anything you didn't like?
"The hotel was a disgrace, and I do not believe it should be offered to anyone to stay in until the owners carry out a substantial up grade. For what was paid I do not expect five star but I do expect minimum decency and cleanliness. I am sure if anyone from health and safety were to visit that hotel they would close it down."
