What did you like the most?: "We had a really warm welcome and were conducted to our room. The room was fine though not particularly large. All rooms appeared to be called after local places of note. Ours was called Avebury after the archaeological site,(others were Stonehenge, Silbury Hill, Savernake Forest and Ridgeway) and there was a information sheet about it in the front of the Hotel Information Pack. Our evening meal, including the wine, was excellent. I can't remember enjoying a rump steak more and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her vegetarian meal. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is run by a married couple. It was the wife who welcomed us when we arrived and the husband, who appeared to be the chef, who dealt with us on our departure. He was as friendly and helpful as his wife had been."

Is there anything you didn't like?: "Room rather small and bathroom tiny. Unlikely to stay here again. Would prefer to be addressed by name and not as gentleman and lady."
