What did you like the most?: "I was in transit to the Dordogne. The hotel was very comfortable, and the staff friendly. The buffet breakfast was very good. The main advantage of the hotel is its location close to the old town encouraging exploration!"

What did you like the most?: "Room itself was standard Novotel. Food was good, but crazy pricey."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "The front desk staff was initially very rude. When I checked in, there was a problem with the room type. They did not have an initial reservation available per the printed reservation. The clerk behind the desk then proceeded to give me a 5 minute lecture about how I didn't click correctly that I needed a room that could have children. Funny how after listening to the nice lecture, I provided the printout of the reservation that listed bringing children and the printed policy of the hotel that said kids under 12 were free. She was quite quiet after that. Unfortunately, the area is not the safest. It is just outside the safe area of beautiful Bordeaux, and there were collections in the otherwise beautiful park of a bunch of hoodlums, drunks, and homeless. We did not feel safe walking through the park while looking for a place to eat. The streets were passable, but I did not feel safe with the family after dark."
