- "We booked two apartments in this resort with two family friends. Upon arrival we found the place to be filthy dirty. We could not check in anywhere and went to Clube Praia da Rocha for guidance. They said My Holidays has no affiliation with them whatsoever. This concerned us greatly. We arrived to the resort to be consulted by the Condominium's security who was under the influence of alcohol. He greeted us from a hut style cabin and did not ask for any documentation. We were guided up to our two rooms and it became apparent that the building was almost derelict. It was also like a building site surrounding the apartment block and there was work being carried out with half the building covered up. There was a tree plant knocked over, and the dirt was on the ground which made the common areas filthy with muck. When we arrived into the apartments none of our beds were made and there was bed linen stuffed into a drawer. The apartment had a bad smell of sewage also. Due to health and safety concerns, we decided that we would not stay here and had to seek additional accommodation. It truly was a nightmare which ruined the start of our relaxing holiday. I am urging you NOT to book with My Holidays. We are seeking our money back as we didn't stay here and we are having great difficultly getting it back."
