Pension Muñoz is situated in the very heart of Madrid, just a few steps from Principe Pio and the Palacio Real.
It was totally renovated in 2009 and has a traditional and classic style. All its rooms (sigle, double or triple) are tastefully decorated to make your stay as comfortable as possible and they have: heating, LCD TV of 20 inches and private or shared bathroom.
Pension Muñoz is characterized by its privileged location and its tranquility that will let you have a rest and to reach the most important monuments of the capital in few minutes walking. It has very good connections with different areas of the city by public transport:
• Principe Pio: (Line 6, 10 and Ramal Opera-Principe Pio)- 450m
• Plaza de España (Line 3 and 10)- 550m
• Opera (Line 2, 5 and - Ramal Opera-Principe Pio)- 1000m -

Reservation may be cancelled or amended up to jorge@penionmunoz.es hours prior to day of arrival of the client. Failure to cancel your booking prior to this time will result in a charge of one night's accommodation apart from the initial guarantee deposit. In order to amend a reservation, please contact directly to the hotel which details figure in the voucher. If your amendment reduces the number of nights or rooms the deposit will not be refunded and will not be discounted of the modified reservation fee.

- "- very unfriendly personal - no english - very small rooms - toilet sharing - broken closet - breakfast: just one sandwich with pork, no other choices - water from water-tap was full of chlorine"

- "It is cheap and it has nicer and cleaner rooms compared with other hostels in Madrid that are more expensive."

- "What they announce in their webpage is not totally true. They DON'T have WIFI and there is no HEATING. You can survive without them but it is not what you expect after reading the facilities list from their profile."

- "sometimes had a hard raw smell, as if from a long wash. Probably from the patio where we looked out the window. But this is not bothered as we only slept there."
